He's not returned so either he no like us no mo

He got coupling advice from JB Hunt
He managed to hook up and can't figure out the red and yellow knobs
Or he's no long out to be a grease monkey
Red Hot Mess, 7122894003481 and Wargames Thank this. -
Why do people post responses calling others idiots and such? The poster was just asking for a little help. It's amazing that one year drivers are so critical of others. Drivers whine all the time about no courtesy on the road, and you cant even be courteous on this forum. Probably one reason trucking is and has been becoming a job instead of a profession.

Wuzafuzz, love the user name.
But ya gotta admit, the original question was kinda lame. If'n yer gonna work on 'em, it might be important to know how they operate. Pretty basic (and self explanatory) stuff.
Leave these guys alone and let 'em blow off steam. You're not wearing a badge any more.Mud Dog, Diesel Dave, Wargames and 1 other person Thank this. -
His questions had no merit. He's a mechanic needing to learn how. BUT stated he had the concept but couldn't do it. If it was a hard task I could understand but he's asking about the easiest thing. 5 minutes airlines shouldve been figured out.Red Hot Mess Thanks this.

Most of us took the original post with a grain of salt, because of it's wording. I mean, c'mon, you can install a set of air lines with a wrench, but have no concept of how glad hands hook together?
A king pin bending from too hard of a hook?
Sorry, you could clean the fifth wheel off it's sliders and destroy an entire cab, and that king pin will be as straight as it ever was.
So, quite a few of us took it in the grain that it may have been an exercise in ball-bustin', so we did a little of the same in return.
Well, just for the record, if my mechanic can't understand how to hook a set of glad hands together, I certainly don't want a Pittman arm change or a brake job done.
Well, the thing that just frosts my cupcake is that he's coming on here for answers instead of picking his *cough* instructors brain.
That poor, poor KW. That truck used to be in it's glory days, and now it's just a guinea pig for teaching new wrenches how to bend king pins.
What school is this anyway? I'm dying to know.
Mud Dog Thanks this. -
I'd like to know what school also. It's amazing how so many jumped at the chance to run this kid down. He's 19 and I'm sure he has plenty of stupid or dumb questions. And I'm sure that Red Hot Mess will give him a "beat down" from her vast experience of knowledge she's gained in 0-1 year of driving the next time he asks a dumb question. That is if he ever comes on here again to find solutions to questions he just might be too embarrassed to ask face to face.
I'm not perfect and far from it but no one is and I'm sure we've all stopped and said to ourselves "now that was dumb". What happen to the statement that the only dumb question is the one not asked? The Kid may be a fraud but still I'm sure there are other new drivers that may have the same problem that have turned in and the good responses may have helped them. It's all in good fun until the insults come out and the questions stop being asked. My 2¢ and I'm ready to be chastised. -
I will if he asks a dumb question. I may be a lady and I may be a Preserve but I know how glad hands work and I know how to hook a trailer. That my friend is basic 101 knowledge.
As someone stated...why is he asking us and not his teachers? Hmmmmm???? -
I'm sure you knew all that before you started. And like I said before, maybe he didn't want the face to face question in fear. Either way I feel it's the job of an experienced driver to answer.

And even they made fun of this post so try downing me again big boy!
