The 50 post min is because of spammers and recruiters. Any time you want to PM one of the other members just send a PM to any of the staff and be sure to include who you want to get the PM and how to contact you until you can PM.
Believe it or not I've had folks do both, they must have been really tired. -

gurlygirl head for youtube and check out some of the 13sp shifting videos might help you get the idea of what a properly shifted 13sp looks like. Once you figure it out you'll never want to be with out that splitter again.
2000 on the tach is not good on that engine. I would be ticked if somebody was hammering on my truck like that. Not badmouthing you (not at all) just trying to make sure you understand 2K on the tach is bordering on engine abuse.
What exactly is this mechanic telling you needs to be fixed/adjusted? Remember not all mechanics are honest. Even if they are friendly... -
Well, Im running like a Tiger-those Kitty days are all over. It shifts different and runs out alot better.
The CAT mechanic turned it up and put it on the computer printout. He said it was governed at 1800 and said I probably wasnt shifting it that high. He checked the valves and said everything is running great it was just set up all wrong and by the time I shifted up it dropped so low it couldnt catch back up with itself. And I agreed, It did feel as if I was almost going backwards. Anyways, he said its all good and itll run great and it does. I did work on Friday and those hills I used to go up at 25 now at 45. Its a huge difference and am no longer standing on the floor just to reach the top of a hill.
To Kansas; the tack is off and it feels right when shifting and I know what it sounds like to be 'over rev'd' and I have driven w someone and they said I drove it correct and right on the rpms. He said Im almost to easy with it.gdyupgal Thanks this.
