I am trying to use load boards to help dispatch some loads to my buddy. The truck he is driving is a 26ft. Dock Truck, or so he calls it. When I go to load boards a dock truck is never listed. They have other names like hotshots, lowboys, maxis, reefers, and other names. Could someone please tell my the other names for a dock truck? Thank you, Terry

A 26' "dock truck" ? Sounds like a 'straight truck" to me, but I don't think you'll find "straight trucks" on load boards much.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if i could make a load work using another name for my type of truck. Any ideas? oh, the truck is 24ft and not 26ft.

Tell him to look @ LTL shipments being as his size is hlaf of a trailer. Also, expedite shipments.
