leaning towards going to Springfield, OH for USX. USA Trucks training is very close though right in Ohio LOL. I think I would rather train for 3 weeks then 4-6 weeks. Also I think .26cpm for North East Regional is going to be rough. However, I don't want to throw away an opportunity to stay regional when home time is the biggest thing for me right now. My head is spinning man. Not 100% decided yet.

I was suprised when you said USX, in OH as they used to make the students all come down to Chattanooga for orientation. I have been there to that Springfield terminal. They must have moved if there doing orientations at that location, as it seemed more like a big drop lot then a terminal. You see all their sister company trailers in there like Smith and Total Trans.......I might be thinking of a drop lot they have in that area?

I have not been to the Springfield terminal but it is one of only two where USX does upgrade tests. The other is the main terminal in Tunnel Hill.

great now my decisions became even tougher. I can do a local job right now delivering home heating oil $15/hr and be home every night. Probably make the same amount of money that I would make OTR and be home every night. The big drawback would be I wouldn't get the trailer experience and have to hold off on it. I don't think I would have as good a chance as getting hired with some of these starter companies seeing that it would be more than 3 months since I got my CDL-A. What do you guys think I am going insane now making up my mind.
