that's nothing. you can get that by doing very little. turn the pump up and put bigger injectors in it. that will get ya close

thanks, medicineman. I didn't know it'd be that easy. So pretty much just have the injector pump worked on and bigger injectors will do the trick? Would I need to go with a better turbo or will the stock factory turbo do the job?

Oh, and just so you know about the 600 hp limit. I spoke with Detroit radiator and was told that they could build up a special radiator to support about 600 hp. Limited space in a cabover.

    A 5 core radiator will handle 600hp easily.:yes2557:
Is this an air-to-air motor? If so it will be easy to get 600hp or close to it without buying anything.

Do you have general knowledge of this motor already?

Back to the days of putting the rack screws in your pocket. To many factors when looking for this much h/p from a 4mg motor that was 425 h/p. Larger radiator, air to air a must to make this kind of power! transmission, driveline and clutch to handle more power. A good pyro gauge too for starters plus deep pockets to do it right.

You have a good point, but 600hp isn't alot to ask out of a B model. You don't have to change anything other than timing and fuel settings to acheive that. You just have to use common sense when driving it, thats all. You don't even have to take the screws out....yet.

The C models on up have the bigger rod bearings so they would most likely hold up better, but if all your wanting is 600hp the B will do just fine. You can go with more HP but you'll have to change the bearings more often.

C's are much stronger than B's. I've seen plenty of C's putting out 750 plus HP. C's are air to air. I have a friend in FL who replaced his 3406C with an E and he's selling the C model engine. If you want contact info I'll give it to you.
