Starting out, your are going to be on the bottom of the barrel. You will get some miles and low pay at most places. If you need training then you are limited as to who will hire you. I spent 14 months at Roehl and went through their training. I have much written here about my experiences. Here is a condensed version. You will get good experience and training at Roehl. You will not receive the miles or money they promise. I never got a bonus (other than the sign on stay on bonus) and did not get enough miles dispatched to me to qualify for an annual raise. But, you can make a little money and the experience will get you a much better job somewhere else next year. I have found better work after 14 months at Roehl and I often wondered if it was going to be worth it. I can tell you it was. But, be prepared to spend one year there or wherever you go. Companies don't want to see you job hopping when you apply to them next year. It will be tough but if you are to make it in trucking you have to start somewhere. Unfortunately, trucking companies have this in their favor and we, as new drivers, are forced to abide by it initially. However, after your year is over there is more control in your corner.
    Good luck
