I just bought a
Cobra power inverter, CPI-2575.
It came without the cables.
All battery cable kits I can find
for this inverter are 3ft 4AWG.
To install this in my truck I need more than 3 ft,
so looking for inverter cables that are
about 6ft, so increasing the length,
would 4AWG still work?
One of the red cables has to have a fuse on it at the battery,
says my company.
I have 2 hot cable posts on the inverter
and 2 grounds to accommodate 4AWG,
will 6ft length be okay for that 4AWG?
It doesn't appear the inverter will accommodate
#2AWG...
anyone familiar with the Cobra CPI-2575 ?
I've never had or installed an inverter before
so any and all help appreciated.
I am installing this in a Mack Vision 2003.
Any suggestions on where to buy the cables
and fuse holders I need, as I am having trouble
finding what I need anywhere!
What amp do I have to have for the 2 fuses?
Thanks, RJ
