One of my father's baby brothers was killed by a hothead in Texas way back in 1973. He was very close to a sister that lived near there. It crushed her to see this brother buried. What crushed her more was watching that dirtbag released. I don't remember the year he was released, but I was still in the Air Force (left in 1980) when they released him. I will hold my peace and restrain myself from saying how I really feel on this topic. I just know our society being what it is, well, people don't stay locked up all that long anymore because maintaining prisons is expensive! I am not smart enough to know what is better. Building more prisons that eat up tax money or releasing these people back into society.
Need help with companies that will accept me with this M.V.R. And prior criminal history

I have no answer for you. I would just like to plead with you that if something does work out, you drive with alot more humility than this record suggests. As a commercial driver, you should hold yourself to a much higher standard. Trucking down the road in a semi with cargo is quite different than a 4 wheeler. Basic laws of physics dedicate that you must be much much more cautious. You simply can not stop quicker or maneuver as nimbly. Plus, all that weight greatly increases the chances of inflicting damage, injury and death should things awry.

Update!!!!
So come to find out i found a school that would accept me with my record and I found a couple companies that offered paid training as well. The paid training companies didn’t seem appealing and at the time I couldn’t afford the school. However a year later I’m pleased to say I found a community college that accepted me and gave me a scholarship. School has been going great. I have new found respect for a big rig and it’s power. I’m looking forward to safely being apart of this world. My dreams are starting to manifestbryan21384 and Dennixx Thank this. -
