Many companies today like to reduce the money they pay to their drivers, then give it back as per diem. The per diem is not taxable for the employees, but the reason the companies like it is that if lowers the amount they have to pay for payroll taxes- Social Security, Medicare unemployment ins etc.

Shouldn't it be the company giving the drivers the relevant information? The company has the lawyers and accountants that know all the details.

You, on the other hand, know nothing about it.
And if your company does not know more than you, well...

Pay the driver $2.15/HR @24 hours for each day out = $51.60. Then tip the driver $325/day for each day out. NO tax on tips per the BBB just passed. So, this gives the driver a daily payout of $376.60. For 275 days out a year the driver gets over $103,000 a year. But they only pay taxes on $14,190.

It's a deduction of up to $25,000 for tips, so they are still taxed. Also it requires you report all taxes to the employer so they can be added to your W-2 if you wish to take the deduction.

And if you only pay taxes on 14k and the rest is unreported, if your scenario was even real, then that is the income reported to Social Security and any lender you may wish to get a loan from.
