Where do you call home? This makes a significant difference if you're married and want to stay married based on the choices you are presented with.

As long as your wife will have no problem with you being out 3-4 weeks at a time. Since your freshed out of trucking school you should try US Xpress, Crete, KLLM, May Trucking, Schneider, Prime, Stevens. Werner has to many negative things about them. I just quit with them because im not getting miles with them. Low miles mean low pay. And to much sitting and waiting. At Swift they may not be the best but also not the worst. It works out for some people and others it dont. I got my CDL thru Swift. I did my part of the job and they did theirs. Mentors not the best sometimes but will get you thru training. Shaffer sounds good to. They have a high pay for drivers. But here there drivers are getting low miles now. As for Melton I dont know about them. If your looking for great training I know Stevens Transport and Prime has a great training program. Search for more companies as theres many more opportunities out there in trucking. Its up to you to find the best company that will be best fit for you. Gud Luck to you eazygoing

I'm not a driver but you might try Schneider. They have dedicated jobs so that may get you home on a regular basis

Stevens and Prime will be putting pressure on you to lease a truck. You are too new to be in business for yourself. Try Con-way Truckload in Joplin. First year out of school their pay is the best.
