How can you fix this?

I had this problem twice now. the tranny has to be dropped and a new module kit and piston kit has to be installed. the drive line, cross over fuel lines and transmission bracket has to be removed to drop the tranny. rebuild the modules, clean plunger and reassemble. it cost me $1300 @ a freightliner last time.

I'm having trouble with air coming from shifter knob.tool it apart ,think that wernt I very good ideal to do,but now ha e to put it all back together.any suggestions fer doing this task at hand would be greatly appre.

Do you have to remove the transmission to get to the range piston to install the kit? And shouldn't the piston stay lubricated since its inside the trans?

Do you have drop the transmission to get the top cover off on 2011 Cascadia ? Or raise the cab up ?

Do you have to drop the transmission on a 2011 Cascadia to remove the top cover or raise the cab up ? My piston is stuck in high range takes well over hour and a half before low range to finally kick in.
