need help

Was driving for a company that ran almost every load illegal because of the way the schedueld the loads(small company). I got my finally check and they charged me tolls that i went through while working with them and out of route miles on my first load in which i was not told the way to go, i never signed anything saying i would be charged for this if i quit. As a company driver can they charge you for this, it is not my truck nor my resposiblity for those tolls? Can anyone help me. Also they want me to pay for my pre employment drug screen.

called labor dept. and they can only enforce min. wage i would have to take it to small claims court for the tolls and out of route miles.
