If I got my cdl in 2006 and was in training with TMC, are there any companies that will give me a refresher and hire me even though I had a minor accident (my trailer clipped the nose of a tractor and know one was hurt) but was terminated.

Plenty of the big carriers are hurting for drivers so, considering this incident was 8 years ago I think they will give you a pass and you would take a refresher.

Pattyj it happened back in 2006 and there were no injuries to anyone and I caught some of the grill and one of the headlights.

Even if it was on your DAC I wouldn't worry about it. You should have no trouble finding a job. Like stated above lots of companies are hurting for drivers. If a minor incident is the only thing on your record you'll get hired.

Maverick will hire you and you won't need a refresher. I don't think the accident will hurt you. Good Luck

After 3 years it will not matter much. Resent experience is more of a issue now.
