Well, a good kibble should be easy to carry and prepare, and should not spoil real fast. . .

Healthy trail mix is good, and bottled shakes, granola bars, whole grain cereal bars.

All can be bought in bulk and nibbled on the road. Smaller meals will give you a higher metabolism.

hit up efoods direct.com get ur selfs a month supply to try it out, get u a burner and those portable propane tanks, and wash out ur cookin pot/bowl with one of thoses 5gallon camping showers. save money, eat a meal that is hot enough to let it cool down and enjoy ur non gmo meals. might even lose little weight as its mosty soft foods. only thing is u need lots of water! which might be a good thing if u dont drink much anyways.....

Something you can find at the store and keep on the truck include the Hormel dinners that fit in a lunchbox heater. They are pretty healthy (they usually include starchy veggies like potatoes) and only about 250 calories a pop. Find them in the soup aisle. Ready in about a half hour, and store at room temp. They can be microwaved too. You can add small pop top cans of veggies (green beans, corn, peas, etc.) for variety.

Trail mix is tasty, but remember it's very high in calories. Foods dieticians recommend to put on weight include: trail mix, peanut butter, granola, dried fruit, high-fat cheeses, nuts, creamy soups, cheese, starchy veggies (corn, potatoes), ranch dressing and fatty foods. There are more, of course. I just included my favorites....bummer.

This all seems great....might be a bit much though for someone who's home every night and trying to keep things simple.

Nah man you just need to diversify your meat selection! Go to your local deli and just try things. There are like a million different kinds of salami alone! I don't see how a guy could ever get sick of cold cut sandwiches!

see the film "Fat Head", they pretty much shoot down "Super Size Me" as a bunch of Bull--. They also give some great info on how to eat properly and how you get fat. The fact that Morgan Spurlock won't release any food diaries of when he was only eating McDonalds and you can't get the amount of calories a day he claimed to eat by following the rules he claimed to follow, should tell you Super Size Me was sensationalist crap.
