Didnt think of that. Id have to get my tanker endorsement, which isnt a problem.
Yeah right at 5.5 months experience

Not yet. Have over 20 or so applications out there. From the few call backs ive gotten so far the previous company is doing something to my record to keep me from getting hired. Im to the point im going to start contacting lawyers and news agencies. Im confident itll all work out though.

Here is a classic case of let's screw the driver. Try to apply to companies that don't check hire right. Not every company cares about what the last place has to say about you. Real outfits just want someone with a cdl and a clean mvr

Well Truckin Josh, there are two HOS rules that you could be talking about (three, but let's skip 30 minute break). Were you running out of hours for that day? OR, were you running out of hours as in you were hitting your 70?

Company started out expediting. Willing to hire new grads and those fleeing Pam Transport and the like. They want you to start out catching loose routes for several months while paying you .26 per mile. The mileage, miles, equipment when speaking to the CFO were not even close to what was advertised. And the application that I got emailed looked like it had been copied from a website and saved as a .pdf file.

Off topic but regarding The Real Xpress, I almost worked for them a couple months ago, which would have been my first go with my CDL. I spoke to some guy named Enoh or something, all through e-mail. I had a bad feeling about it but was willing to give it a shot if it meant avoiding a megacompany. They flew me out there and got me a motel, then the next day told me their insurance wouldn't allow me because of a medication I'm on. I told them about it long before coming, but apparently they didn't bother checking into it before telling me "it won't be a problem at all." They were nice enough to get me a flight back home, minus the 8 hour wait at the airport. They used Uber and Lyft for everything. I got there late at night so I never saw any kind of office and they had me meet them at a truck stop. Kinda shady.
