Wally I appreciate you mentioning Jordan truck sales. I know a guy who's looking to add on to his fleet and will suggest them to him.

looks like a fairly cheaply optioned truck. steel air tanks, cheap air cleaners, two horns. I'm sure the interior is a lower line. you may want to look around

How many horns does it need??? Hey, it does have 2 stacks! LOL

Probably also has power steering and AM/FM....grin

Seriously, that is not a bad price for that truck, even if it's not loaded to the nuts with chrome gauge bezels and whatnot

It's got hood, power, and it's a Pete.

You can browse T paper and find less for more, and more for less, but that thing falls right in the middle, price wise for what it's got. Not a bad starter truck. Offer $39,900. And or have them through in the extended Cat 2 year waurantee ($2800)

I was thinking about offering 35,000 but I like your idea better. By the way it has the platinum interior package, virgin rubber and brakes.
    And 500 hp

IIRC, for that Cat to qualify for the 2 year extended warrantee, it WILL need to be inspected....at the cost of about $500 -ish.

Who pays that cost is also negotiable.

And one more tidbit of advise if I may, is make certain before you dot the line, that this truck (or any truck you buy) also comes with a DOT inspection, free of charge.

    wildbill123 Thanks this.

Hmm.. I don't know the weight and it's not in the ad. It's 435hp with 3.73 rears and a super 10, 22.5LP and air ride.

Anyway, I spoke to that reference today, gave me about an hour of his time. Really nice guy, has 3 trucks going through eclipse. Says other than the hassle of getting/keeping good drivers, the money is there. Said it's not what it was a couple years ago but it's been picking up, no one is losing thier businesses that he knows of. He only drives occasionally and is making money on each of the trucks no problem. I feel a lot better after talking to him, not quite so nervous about the overhead I'm working with.

I wasn't implying it was a bad deal. just depends on what your looking for I guess. Not all peterbilts are created the same. Personally I'd rather have the nicest interior you can get in an international then a strip down pete. afterall the inside is what you look at all day

PHARMPHAIL called eclispe to day in GA.diden't sound like a bad deal to me.in this area it seems hopper is better then dump but i could run both.am going to call the # that you gave me tomorrow and see what he sez about it.I saw the kw on your other thread and it looks nice to bad about all the work it needs.i wouldent worry about 24 tons with that truck and a 40-42ft dump.with my 95fld 40 ft travis dump and a half tank(140gals) i was getting 25.4 tons.thats a really good price for insurance. did you tell them you were pulling end dump? it's been a few days since we last spoke so give me some up dates on your progress.also wildbill thats a nice pete i wouldent worry about the interior its all the same once you make it yours. Thanks Walt
