Need New DMV Photo When Adding an Endorsement?

Well if you have a permit then the photo is not done, but upgrades here in CA is Yes if your license is older than 6 months.EphTrucker Thanks this.

Same here in Colorado. If you get a new endorsement on your license, they retake the picture because you have to get a new license issued with the endorsement marked on it.

Went to CA DMV. No photo to add an endorsement. But you have to submit a new application. And If you don't put a check mark in the boxes of any endorsement you already passed, that signals DMV to remove that particular endorsement. Weird
They also did not require to to show any ID other than my Class C license, unlike original application for REAL ID CDL. -
not in my state. until the time for the license renewal, THEN they take a new pic. one time (here) they would just ask you if you want a new pic or not. now everyone gets a new pic at renewal time. for you, they should just carry over the current pic, if it was recently taken.EphTrucker Thanks this.
