Was going to get a Bostrom WG II but it will take six weeks to make it. National make admiral model that also looks nice also. Just do not know which one to get but want the one that the foam will not go dead in a year I'm 190 lbs seem like most of the seats the bottom go flat. I have an elite 80 for five years was never real happy with it but the bottom cushion has lost its support sitting on the metal frame now not good. Also the lady at suburban seat told me to a look at Knoedler also but they are made in S. Korea. She said they are selling more and more of these lately.
Need new seat National or Bostrom

You can replace the cushion on National and probably the seat you have, I have no love for Bostrom anymore, I would go with a higher edition of almost anything before getting one of those. Knoedler is well regarded. Sears(Elite) is made in Iowa, I think.
I wish I could buy a seat from John Deere, the old ones were very good for long hours. -
I like my ISRI. I've had it for a few years now looks and feels like new.

My Knoedler was made in Canada.
My fat ### hasn't made it break down yet and I have at 500000 miles on it .
When I do wear this one out I will buy another one . -
which model knoedler do you guys have

Look at the seat made by Bose. it counteracts the bumps electronically and makes a comfortable ride. They will finance it also.

Doesn't that Bose seat cost about half as much as getting an in-frame done?
KC Guardrail, BigBadBill and peterd Thank this. -
Yes those Bose seats are rediculous expensive like over 5K.
National seats are about the cheapest in the market. Sears has become the big with Peterbilt.
Couple months ago, I just bought two new Sears Elites. Got the pair for under 1400 from Peterbilt.
Strangly the truck dealers seem to have the best prices on seats but couldn't find any that had the knoedler. Was told the knoedler had to be order as each are custom built.
I was also surprised the dealers had just couple on display but several (like 50) in the back of different choices. This was the Freightliner and Peterbuilt. KW didn't stock but a couple of cheap looking seats.
I beleive the Knoedler grand cheif one of the better but almost double what I paid for the sear elites. -
You can get some good deals on higher end seats at dealers. I liked my Sears but had I run the long miles in the past I would have ordered a custom seat with good support and softer leather and one with the cooling fans. Never needed the heat but have a fan blowing would have been nice at times.
