Seats Inc. legacy silver or gold. I had a silver in my last truck & really liked it.
25(2)+2 and KC Guardrail Thank this. -
I specifically went to the Louisville Truck show a couple of years back to look at several items. One was the ability to compare side by side, properly set up and working the 10 or so seat manufacturers represented. I spent the better part of the day shuttling between all of them. One at a time I eliminated the also rans until I finally decided on the highest level National, with heat, massaging and all. I cannot think of a more important purchase given the # of hours we spend in these things. And it is totally a subjective judgement. Literally everybody is different. Don't just buy one because the local dealer has one in the display area while you are getting a couple of filters. My pet peeve is almost everyone who sells these things doesn't display them properly( no air to them, not bolted down etc..) Wait until you can get to a major truck show and look and all of them and make an informed decision.

I would totally agree. Problem with that is the ability to wait for the show. My passerger seat actually broke about 6 months ago(backing wouldn't stay locked). The my drivers side started giving out on one side, Cushion breaking down.
The seats were almost 10 years old, just strange both broke down within a year of each. They were bostron. -

I guess no one likes Bostrom not one reply has suggested them. I like that National has a 7 year warranty and wonder why Knoedler only has a one year. I had a sears elite 80 for the past five years it was OK just not a great seat. The sears is still like new but the bottom cushion has gone flat and I want a better seat with more support I'm thinking it will be the National or Knoedler. Again thanks to all that replied and all have a Merry Christmas and keep the options coming.

Could an upholstery shop redo your seat if the frame is still in good condition? I watch those car shows and I wonder what a woman like Sue on that fast and loud show could do with reupholstering and maybe making new padding using a memory foam or some other technology. Just curious if anyone has any thoughts on this approach.
