And some people jus don't get it that the driver in the right lane exhibited unsafe driving practices.
And it still is a mystery to me as to how the OP seems not to have a problem wih the outburst of profanity from the first driver, even calling it 'understandable', but finding the reply from the second driver embarrasing, even though the second driver merely said what, and even less than what the first driver said.
Need Opinions on this driver (video).

Just my opinion, but a driver changing lanes should do so when it is safe. The driver in that lane already has less of a responsibility to 'adjust' his speed to accomodate the lane changer, than the lane changer has a responsibility to make sure the lane in which he is about to go into is clear.
It is a decent thing to do,to slow down and allow someone to come over in front of you,but where I am from, changing ,or attempting to change lanes, when someone is already in that lane, moving faster than you are is called 'cutting someone off'. It is even more annoying when you do not signal. Even more annoying when the one doing the cutting off behaves as if he is some sort of victim and it is the driver already in the lane that has done something wrong.
I know that when I am in the left or middle lane, and someone in the lane to the right changes lanes in front of me suddenly, like the driver in the video clip attempted to do,my first,or second,or third reaction is not to say,'I am sorry,my fault,I should have adjusted my speed for you',but maybe that is just me.Kokot Thanks this. -
Sorry I did NOT record that Twister that Chased my ### in 1998 for 50 miles in Nebraska. Try staying ahead of a F-3 for close to a hour and then you can talk about bad weather.

My observations:
Driver 1 (the videographer):
1: Was not moving at breakneck speed. He moved at a reduced speed which he felt comfortable at and did not congest the left lane. Watching from a distance, it doesn't seem particularly fast. I'm going to have to rule in his favor on this one.
2: Profanity happens out here. His comment was childish, as was the other driver's. They both need to grow the hell up.
3: His reaction to the over driver left a bit to be desired.
4: He did not tailgate the SUV (though I thought it looked more like a minivan), but the space he did leave may have been inadequate when you factor in reaction time. Between that and his reaction when the over truck swerved over, I get the impression he tends to be one of these "I'm not backing off for anything" types.
5: His lights were on. He flashed the four wheeler to indicate he wanted to pass. Nothing wrong there.
The right lane:
1: If you feel like the only way you can get down the road is to drive that way, you probably should just go ahead and get off the road. What are you going to gain when the road is closed ahead, anyhow?
2: The other driver failed to signal their intent.
3: Drivers in the right line were following each other MUCH too closely.
All in all, I find myself... less than impressed... with all parties involved.Meltom and crankit2152 Thank this. -

Turn signal does not override 4-ways on Prostar.

That's not how I would drive, but he also looked under complete control.
I guess I am split on this.
