:biggrin_25524: This what my dad taught me on stopping, no matter what the weather slow down if in heavy rainfall, but this driver did not and someday gonna have a big wreck, there no need too drive fast on slippery roads, i cacth a bus back from kanas city back too des moines, i was shocked, the truckdrivers were flying past our bus, there was three-five trucks in the medain jack knife, and the weather was real bad , just came out of major ice storm and roads were shut down for three days, but when they opean up I-35 too the north, they flew and had warp 10 speed on, unreal, i grab my seat a little harder cause i thought they was gonna have a big pile up and we be in the middel , but also dad said no matter how big the tires are on a 18 wheeler you only have 12 inchs on the ground at the most, reg 18 wheeler tires, and thats not much too stop with if you got 80 tho and unsafe condtions as i seen here in this vidieo , :biggrin_25524:

But it does on Volvos and most Paccar units and Freightshakers. Don't know why it doesn't on Internationals.

On the older units, the turn signal bar is how you cancel the 4-ways. The 4-way switch was a little silver pull-out at the base of the turn signal bar. When the 4-way switch was moved, the turn signal no longer canceled the 4-ways. It didn't override on my Cascadia either.

A turn signal will override the 4-ways on my Cascadia, but it will not cancel them.

OK let me throw something different in this picture here. Yes the driver in the number 1 lane did come over without signaling and even if he looked it was to close. But in saying that and not saying he is not wrong because he is. But if you look at the video before he comes over you can see the flashing lights under the brige. Therefor in my opinion and maybe I am wrong her but the other driver should have backed out of it expecting the truck to come over in front of him. Like I said not taking sides here but they both are actually in the wrong. Driver in lane 1 is obviously the one who is more wrong but you should pay attention to things in front of you and he should have seen the lights flashing.

no where in the driver hand book does it say you must yield to dumb people, only pedestrians and puppies have the right of way, everyone else needs a sign.

After watching that video again, I think the "SUV" is actually a Ford Econoline van. Just felt like throwing that in there.

The faster you go in adverse conditions the greater your risk is to wreckage. I can't be responsible for everyones driving just my own ill get off and let all the supper truckers wreck then watch them be humble.
