all i would is cut the factory pigtail and splice into your new radio. Yeah you will have some butt connectrs in there but it would be the same as getting an aftermarket harness. Just test your wire leads to find the constant power, ign power, ground, and then single out your speaker wires by plug and play. you can also get a schematic of these wires at supermiller.com.

THAT IS WHERE I GOT MINE -
Best Buy, a VW car harness plugs right in. Take a pic of the plug with your phone to show them what you need.

Paul 1052 is correct on this, also you can go to a car junk yard and jack one from a VW car(there factory female end). BUT the color coding may not be correct,if was not correct for the 2006 387. BUT the VW(Golf) plugs fit the factory stereo .
I cant figure out why people are to lazy and cheap, and just go and cut factory plugs,do it right or don't do it at all IMO.
Then the next guy has to try an find the original stuff to do the job right.AND i been looking for weeks trying to find the correct one.EVEN ON THAT RIG SITE
I dont want a bunch of hacked wiring behind the dash, sure it will work but makes it harder to work on things in there. -
Hey Cowboy, I've purchased quite a few harness and truck stereos at http://www.semitruckstereos.com I've never had any issues with equipment and service is always on point.
