factor in the price of a rebuild within the next year. Known problems are ceramic plungers in the fuel pump, which tend to disintegrate and take out the fuel system / motor.
also factor in a couple thousand for replacing NOx sensors, dosers, and other misc stuff that will go wrong with the aftertreatment system.
In my 2nd hand experience ... a 5 year old megafleet truck is more expensive to make a payment on and maintain than something new.Socal Xpress and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Go to Truckpaper.com and compare the specs of the truck you're interested in against similar spece'd trucks . Get a rigdig report of the truck you're thinking about buying as well.

You have created three threads now to ask the same question about the same truck. Either get serious and engage in one of your other threads or stop trolling us.
Midwest Trucker Thanks this. -
Hey OP, not to bash you but it is impossible to judge any truck without actually looking at it up close and personal. It ain't like buying a car and needs to be treated as a tool, so as I said, the package doesn't matter, the drive train does.
