I'm looking for a website or software that will take my starting point, destination, load info and give me not only mileage, but also estimated city locations to stop at to keep me under driving hours. If it accessed AAA fuel prices, that would be a plus, giving me a cost estimate on fuel. Of course, it doesn't have to be free, but it would be nice. Any ideas out there?
Need software or website for routing and more...

You can configure your routes to estimate where your stops would be if you averaged X-mph and drove for N-hours.
You can also config in average fuel price and average mpg to get estimated cost. -

Thanks, but perhaps I wasn't clear, I need something that will take my origin and destination, and automatically give me suggested stop points to keep me under my maximum hours on the road. I have Microsoft Streets and Trips, it doesn't have that option, nor does truckmiles.com(emailed them, and they confirmed that they don't have that yet, although it is in the works for their Truck miles on CD program that they sell) any other suggestions?

My company uses Maptuit it will do routing and pick out the cheapest fuel stops on any given day. There is a free demo on the site that will give you basic truck routing. I don't know what the service costs, I'm not the one paying for it, but it's not free.

Do you want it to drive the truck for you too?

Relax dude. It was a joke. -
Sounds more like pushy dispatch if drivers are having difficulty getting loads on time in hours needed.
Streets and Trips is the best. You can figure out average speed, tell the program the mph, the variable of mpg, size of your tanks, HOS, connect to the net and get updates on road conditions, Unknown if MS street and trip covers for over height vehicles. Factoring the above it will tell driver where he will need to think of refuel on extreme, time that they need to have for rest breaks, where the rests can happen, where the nearest stop will be to keep them legal, gps able to help driver with navigation (if they want).
You may need to contact Microsoft direct to get a 10 license copy. Some one here had gps co-ords for street and trips to where truck stops were cross the country.
What ever you do, DONT USE ALK COPILOT! Worst piece of software written at $200 a pop with no support and terrble navigation.
