The OP may have graduated at an older age than typical 17-18 yo? That could explain it, not that it needs explaining.

Stay where you are at until your record clears you wont find a driving job right now. Then in the future realize that a clean driving record is your livlihood. A true pro driver knows this and acts accordingly. The insurance co.s are so tough now a trucking co. cant hire you it would make their insurance rates way too high.

You may want to try another website because you come on here asking advice from experienced guys, they give it to you honestly, and you seem to not like the answer. You were in the military so I know you are familiar with harsh facts and being dealt with like a man! Well, no different here. These guys here love to help you newbies but they are going to give it to you straight and not beat around the bush. If you are sensitive to constructive criticism I believe you are barking up the wrong industry! Thank you for service, I am in no means insulting you! Welcome to the forum.

Hi. First off I want to thank you for serving this nation. When you did that, you served myself and my family. You have my deepest gratitude.

Secondly, no one has attempted to judge you. You came asking for information and advice. When it's given it's given to the best of their knowledge. You see, it's not us on this forum that has to decide if you can have a job or a cdl, it's the law, the companies hiring and their insurance companies. Past experience tells these men that with your record your best solution is to wait until those violations fall off.

You did this nation a service and while doing it you grew and matured. You're not the same person you were at 16 & 17. But the insurance companies won't look at that, they'll only look at the violations.

I for one hope that you'll remain on this forum, and that you'll understand that just like the men you served with the drivers on this forum can be blunt and rough. That doesn't mean they're judging you, it just means they're blunt, rough and honest.
