Hello everyone i just need some advice. I currently hold a class A cdl but before that i had a class B for about 7 months and then went and upgraded. But i did it without going to a school or anything. I found a company that let me rent there truck for the day so i could take my test and i passed so i really dont have any experience. I did sit 2nd seat for a year traveling around the country but i know thats not driving but im also not completely new to this. Im 25 years of age and i have a clean driving history with no accidents and no tickets. I dont have any misdemeanors or felonys or anything like that. I do have experience driving school buss's and motor coaches. Now i need advice cause i see all of the job postings and they all want 3 to 6month experience and i dont have that and i never went to a trucking school. Should i just apply to these places and hope for the best? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
Need some advice.

your either going to have to go to a school, or starting knocking on the doors of really small companies
Good luck

Start small, local companies, construction industry, stuff like that will provide more promising results than big OTR companies.

Im hoping to hear a little more advice. I am actually thinking about attending a driving school. I talked to a school today about it and told them my situation having a cdl but no seat time. I don't think i will have to pay the crazy amount of money for the school since i have everything i need. I just need some seat time and some training. Do i have other options?
