I have been driving for 13 yrs with no accidents or tickets. The dilemma I am running into is that most of my driving has been local. I have a year and a half three state regional and 5 months over the road until I was off earlier this year. I am finding it hard to find another OTR job because no one wants to count the year and a half regional.

Does anyone have any advice on what companies I should look into. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might try maverick. TX is a bad area for them tho. If hired you would be in the long haul div. They would make you do their load securement training (paid) and then go out with a trainer. (paid) That local stuff is not going to help anywhere except another local gig.
