I recently got my Commercial Licence Class A with tanker endorsement waiting on my Hazmat I submitted my paperwork and now I'm just waiting to see if I got Approved ,any way I'm finding out that some Trucking companies will not even consider you if you didn't went to one of the approved schools. Are they any decent companies that will take you as a newbie? I decide to get my License on my own rather than getting stuck with a company that may or may not work out .
Thank you again

That is correct some won't accept you unless you attended school.I don't know of any companies that will. But start looking you may find a company. So how did you get your CDL if not from a school just go to the DMV and take the road test?

Try these, may be a little tough without formal training, but apply online anyway.
Paschall Truck Lines
Schneider (tanker division)
Prime (tanker/flatbed/refrigerated) -
I just went and got mine on my own here is southwest Nebraska. No school, just took the written tests at the DMV then rented a 3rd party truck to road test. I ran into the same thing you did, either needed school or recent verifiable experience with a lot of companies. Long story short, I ended up getting part-time work hauling wet distillers grain from a local ethanol plant to local feedlots. I am home every night, its work, but I enjoy it. Company I drive for is very small, but most all my co-workers are good and the managers/trainers are helpful. Look at trying to get on with a local haul company using tractor trailers, it will help get the door open for whatever you want to do in the future.

Apply with Maverick also if they hire in your area.
Paschall hauls some auto parts out of Laredo, but that doesn't mean you would get those loads on a regular basis. Just whatever it takes to get started. -
I apply at Maverick and Melton I'm waiting to hear from TMC ,Schneider, and local construction company
