Need some suggestions. 2003 379EXHD

    And $30k is actually a still a pretty fair price for what that one is, especially if anybody reputable did the overhaul on the motor (papers, warranty).

    Not what you were hoping for clearly but I doubt it will collect too much more dust now that it's on here. What you're dreaming about is more like a $40-50k truck I think.

    i think i would personally pass on that truck at 30k but someone will probably buy it at that price

    ive seen worse looking trucks, a friend of mine just sold his 96 379 with a 500 cummins with 18 spd for $12,000, but it had 2.5 million miles

    Yes,.. lets say I bought the truck. I'd be looking at another $15k - $30k to get it where I want the truck. How ever,.. I already have a hobby,.. its not restoring semi trucks. Plus the specs are not what I am looking for.

    I heard it run. Had a nice sound to it. But even so,.. just not what I am looking for.

    Thats to bad. He told you on the phone he would take $20k cash but now doesn't remember saying that. What exactly does he have $38k into, the rebuild or other stuff as well? Doesnt look to awful bad in the pics but we know how that goes. I doubt it will be around to long even at $30k once word gets out if it has a legit rebuild with papers.

    Real trucks have metal hoods. :biggrin_255: Yes sir those old FORD'S , CHEVY'S , GMC's and DODGE'S were real trucks in their day
