You can get your CDL and probably go haul a dump or other construction type equipment and be home nightly.

    800k is ridiculous.

If you mean $80k take home, fat chance of that. $80k take home is like $110k wage. The average truck driver is making around $40K gross and woking 90+ hours to get it.

Sure every fleacer at the truck stop lunch counter is doing better the $80k with three months off, but they live in a different world anyway.

Heres how you make 800k in one load. Buy truck and trailer. Drive rig way down in mexico. Contact some Columbians. Tell em you will run one load stacked to the roof with top quality Cocaine. All you want is a measly 800k American dollars. They will be loading your trailer so fast you wont know what to do. Drive rig to USA and retire.

I make $60k annual gross at Melton. And I am not even at the top of the pay scale. That’s doing flatbed after 1.5 years. Feel pretty good about it. Enjoy my job. Take home doesn’t take into account my max retirement withholding, medical, dental, and extra life insurance. All are good values.

    Chinatown Thanks this.
