Switch to vans and run NE regional or maybe to the MW or SE at the furthest. You could get your own authority but I doubt you can afford the insurance. You could maybe find a company to lease onto that runs that type of operation.

If you do get your own authority then he’s probably going to need your help if he’s one of the drivers. Booking loads, doing accounting, jumping through paperwork hoops, etc.

Also, what are the crazy fees you speak of? How much and what for?
