    Good Morning fellow Truckers., I have some DOT points for inspection. Need to clear it. Any one knows always inspected state waigh station. I want go there and get free violation paper. I fix my truck now,

    I think he wants to get inspected after getting dinged on a previous inspection and fixing the problems. Idk.

    The days of courtesy inspections are over. No longer can you ask a dot officer at a scale to go over your truck and get a free fix it list. Today they still won't write you a ticket, but that fix it list carries a lot of csa points.

    A clean inspection will not get rid of any points. If you operate under your own authority, the more clean inspections you get will dilute the bad inspection when it comes to your SAFER ratings.

    I understood perfectly. He has a poor CSA score, has cleaned up his act, and wants to know where he can go where he will have a high likelihood of being selected for another inspection. Clean inspections help improve a bad CSA score, but probably not enough to matter. Only time will fix things.

    In my experience, the best states to get selected for inspection are Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Montana. I've heard rumors that California is a good place to be selected, but that they always find something amiss. YMMV.
