Yes, didn't look good for him
When there's pressure in the tank its almost impossible to loosen the dog ears you ain't doing it with your hands.
The pressure keeps pushing up on the dome lid making it dummy proof. Well.almost.
Any noobies reading this dont be that guy. Open a bleeder valve and check for pressure

    #### no man. Even as little as 2-3 psi is enough to hurt or kill you when were talking about this much volume. Never leave the tank pressurized

    1 # PSIG = 100# force.

Never attempt to open a pressurized unit.

Had a boss who told of a 6" cap where he just touched one ear a little bit. The cap shot off the bulker and was found about 5 blocks away.

Twice I've had to bring a mechanic to a plant to bring home the rig, blood trail down each side of the trailer, as I went on to pick up the driver at the hospital..

No. You should never leave a tank trailer of any kind pressurized if you are not unloading. I have had to do a partial unload at one tank at a mill, and I aired off before driving less than a mile to another tank at the same mill to offload the rest. Saving that five minutes (give or take) of airing up again is not worth what could go wrong.

    Don't Tease the Tiger.

I can't believe I found this. This was the first oil patch company I worked for and this was a high-quality training video for its day. The low pressure stuff starts about six minutes in.
