Got a click today but no start even with my new starter I installed. Heard a click somewhere. Hit the ignition again and it started. It was my issue before I put on new starter. Weird nonsense isn’t it? Yes I cleaned and wire brushed all the cables before putting on the new starter. Did not buy a cheap unit and it is a 39mt paccar starter. Thank you

Yup, starter relay. Check connections at the back of the ignition switch too. SURELY you've been through all the batteries and connections right?

So that is the relay on firewall? Should I put a new one on? Put 3 brand new batteries in and cleaned and put anticorrison on all the leads

I will check connections on back of ignition some night this week. Bee running like a dog. 14 hours a day 7 days a week and I’m exhausted to high hell. Gotta be up at 4am to do it again. Give me one gun and one bullet

Relay is cheap, so yes. If you dont have the means to diag it while its acting up or cant catch it, a new relay is always a good idea as the contacts dont last forever. Same with the ignition switch.

My relay doesn’t look like that. But mine is a 94.

Hopefully your stashing away some big coin to make it all worthwhile. Dont burn the candle that way too long, it can get old quick. Everyone needs some R&R.

    You are welcome.

Supposed to be just for 7 days and then back to normal 6 days a week 8-10 hours. Just trying to recoup the 65k I have into buying the truck and the repairs I had to put into it. I’m a local Triaxle dump hauler and the job pays 90 bucks an hour. It is getting old quick but next week should be better with some more downtime. This can make a man grow old quick brotha. When something has easy money written all over it, you have to think everything comes with a price and I’m payin for it now
