Some of the lingo still goes above my head. Bottomley has a terminal in NC. It ain't close but it sure is closer than Nashville.

I intend to. I will say this though. My mom said she is getting me a fifth of Jim beam for the campground. So, yeah, I'm gonna be enjoying my family time. Might even try to get a family game night going and stir up some shenanigans with my nieces while I am inebriated. :D:p

Considering I am still trying to save up for my own vehicle, not getting a DWI won't be problem. I dont like driving someone else's vehicle anyway, except for work.

Flatbed and Dry van. Since I live in NC, I can only do dry van in the Eastern division.

I do know this. The new Western Express truck I got is great. A 2020 Freightliner cascadia. At least, I can just turn a dial in the sleeper and have the engine start up for ac.

I work for them and can understand how you feel. Sometimes this job can make you feel alienated and unappreciated. I work out of the Bloomington yard and it seems to be worlds different than Nashville.

It sounds like your DM is getting you home if I understand. If you ever need to PM me or want to call just send me a message. There’s not much I can do...but I can explain a bit where the load planner and DM are coming from.

Other than that keep your chin up and know that you’re doing great. Best of luck.

I would, but I'm not taking any more home time, ever. All I do is spend money.

You know there’s a cure for that... Have the OM keep you on the road. Can’t spend it properly if the truck doesn’t stop moving.
