Your company gives you nothing.
YOU are the Master and Decider of your Dominion. If you need home a while and have enough money made, take that time a rest a while.
Otherwise that trucking will bleach your bones and you will learn to hate it. And for what?
Need words of encouragement.

Deep down, do you really want a local job?
How about teams running west coast and home 2 days a week? -

Might check out Magnum. Lots of NC runs. You should get by the house at least every other week. Good home time policy too.
You're doing the right thing by staying out seven weeks, btw. Learning the ropes. Think I stayed out ten when I started. First year is tough, after that, it gets easier.Last edited: Jul 8, 2019

Do you have a hobby, or one you would like to take up? If so think about and plan on getting a new xxx. Plan out that new home, or garage, or even how to redo a bathroom. Or whatever room your place needs redoing.
Or jump on the internet at next meal stop. Plan a real vaca. (Not a weekend camping trip)
Basically I'm saying plan an award for yourself to being out here -

Lastly company policy might be 1 day home for every week out, max 4 days. But it is up to YOU to request/demand/ tell dispatch, when you want to go home. IN TIME dispatch will no, or be able to tell when you need to go home. But relationships take time to be forged. So drivers want to stay out months and stack thier cash. Also it is best if you give dispatch a advance date or notice when you want home time. So if you want home every other weekend. The day you leave home, tell dispatch, you want home next weekend. If possible find a old timer at your company, talk to him
