OP, did you receive money from the state or federal government for the training?
I have noticed in my classes that the instructors are doubly hard on the state training/aid cases. I think with pretty good reason - CDL school....isn't supposed to be a crash course in US driving, reading, and citizenship along with how to drive a truck.
The majority of the problem cases come from countries where bribing is frequent and works well. Their feeling is that they paid, they should get a ticket. It's not a school to them - it's a purchase. That is causing some friction.
Need you suggestion badly

We had a guy who already had a CDL from Illinois show up to work for the company I was instructing for.. he could not pass the road test, he was offered a chance to attend our CDL training. He took the offer and never left the protected training area because he could not drive.. he never pulled a trailer, he never got past the basic requirements of operating the tractor... so just because you paid someone money, doesn't mean a thing if the instructors and or the examiners have an credibility.
