A lot of times the p'd off guy trying to merge doesn't realize I have one or two cars in the lane to the left of me and I have nowhere to go. I'm not slowing down either. I had a fantastic experience a year ago when I wouldn't move over in a construction zone for a car trying to merge. I couldn't because there was a cop on my left. Crazy lady floors it, gets ahead of me, and brake checks me. I saw it coming from a mile away and didn't hit her. The cop lights her up and pulls her over. I go on my merry way. An hour later I'm going the other direction and they are still there. There's three more cops and she's getting hooked up and I swear they might have tased her... loved it.

If someone is really pointing a gun at you REPORT THEM they don’t deserve the privilege to carry one.

What I don't like is when the on coming traffic has more than a mile of acceleration ramp (on flat land) but they have to move into the oncoming traffic going about 40 MPH and it's not just cars!
God prefers Diesels, OldeSkool, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this. -
I’ll leave space in front, maintain my speed, let them figure it out. I’ve put a lot of them on the shoulder. They get a lesson in merging. I’ll change lanes, to avoid a wreck, if needed. Or out of Courtesy, sometimes, if traffics light. Best to hold your lane. They’ll flip you off either way. One thing I really watch for anytime I’m changing lanes, from the right, is being sure the vehicle flying around my left side isn’t pulling a Trailer. They can be hard to see, especially at night, might not have lights.

Too many of them don't even look because they are too busy talking on the phone.

You guys who move over you need to take in account the speed of those in the other lane you are about to enter.
A lot of driver flip on the turn signal and just get over without realizing they are going at 65 and there is a car approaching at 75, something that causes accidents or at least a very pissed off driver.
yesterday I had to travel up to flint, 60 miles and there was a swift clown who decided to get over when someone appeared on the on ramp, the idiot swift driver should have just stayed where he was but he decided to panic, flipping on the turn signal and just moved over without looking the car that was passing him was hit and shoved into the barrier. He kept going and several of us stopped.
This seems to be a very common thing to happen.slow.rider, Rideandrepair and TokyoJoe Thank this. -
A lot of these people are real idiots... a lot of them will not even check their mirrors, speed up or look until they are beginning their lane change... I’ve seen people ride out the length of the entrance lane never getting up to highway speeds.. I’ve learned from my time in the gary/ Chicago area if there’s more than 2 lanes the further from the right you can be the more peaceful your day will be. You don’t have to worry about the idiots merging, and you don’t have to deal with the idiots coming from 8 lanes over and trying squeeze in cause his exit is in a qtr of a mile. My truck now does 68 so unless I’m 2 miles away from my exit I’m in the middle lane enjoying my day.
