I have trained for two weeks by a friend who dispatchs himself. I want to know what seperates a high paid dispatcher versus and average incomed dispatcher. Obvouisly its the level of production in terms of money the dispatcher makes the carrier from high paying loads! How can i find good loads and other advice to be worthy enough of higher income. What should i not do! Any advice please

First would be find a board that is dedicated to dispatchers. A dispatcher is not a broker. There jobs is to schedule divers to deliver and pick up loads in a legal timely manor, utilizing all the drivers available hours to ensure the driver has no life outside of trucking. When you can do this you'll know grasshopper.

Salesmen are the companies brokers who bring in the work. Mechanics are the ones sleeping under the truck, Safety officers are the one making sure no one makes any money. Owners are the one laughing all the way to the bank.
