Any good truck and trailer supply house should be able to get one. Up here they use them on pony pups sometimes.

    Oxbow and W923 Thank this.

I bought the truck in north central Kansas and from what I’ve heard they’re common there and Nebraska.

It’s new to me….maybe try some truck parts places around that area. Or maybe it’s something that came and went and everyone has since forgotten about. In that case what about switching to a pintle

Pretty sure all the truck and pups up here use those. Gravel trucks most of em

I could but either way I’m gonna have to modify the truck or pup. Also with a ball, the truck is not required to have a brake chamber to take the slack out of the pintle, when brakes are applied. This truck is set up for the ball and to be honest, though I’ve never used the ball style, I think I’ll like it better. All I need to find is a dealer who offers the hitch and get price and availability.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

I do like the idea of the ball and how it should be a nice tight bind free connection. I just never knew it existed.

Try Marx Trailer, sioux city IA.
Or Google trailer sales around Lincoln neb or sioux falls SD. Fairly common around here
