The closer it gets to pick up time for the load is the best time for the broker to agree to your price. But you have to also be reasonable and your offer needs to be fair. If its too cheap, keep looking.

Had a truck in Texas yesterday and it definitely wasn’t as easy to get out as it was even a couple weeks ago. Still did pretty good but took a lot more work.
