pay attention to your weather and where you get fuel.

Lows are supposed to be single digits come Thurs/Fri night. Otherwise, looks to be a nice weekend up here.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to y'all. I just made it home yesterday. In all it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be. But it wasnt easy either. My main trouble was finding a place to park at night when all the truck stops are full. Houston was the worse. Another thing I had trouble with was backing in at shippers that have real small area to monuver around. And I missed a couple of turns or exits and had to reroute to get back on track. That was real nerve racking. But in all it was a good 2 Weeks and I learned a lot from my mistakes.

Good job! Just take it easy, Houston can be a pain. Plan out a couple places to stop near big cities, when ever possible leave yourself a little bit of time, better to have some left on the clock than run over.

Always check your directions, map quest them (I know its not truck routing, but can get feel of the streets off the interstate) .. WRITE it down and tape to your dash ... LOOK for your exit .. slow down if ya have to.. others can deal with it. Some docks are just tight...period. take your time and do as many pull ups as needed. and I start my day very early, generally before sunrise, that way when my day is done, the truck stops are still 1/2 empty.

I have been known to use a black dry erase marker and write the directions / route on the top of the windshield.
