When I checked in yesterday we was giving a new application to fill out..on the first app I didn't put my arrest history and I forgot about a speeding ticket I got two years ago. I told the interviewer I added the arrests cause I didn't want to leave anything out. I then asked her did I mess up by not having it on my first app. She told me no I was fine since I didn't have no felonies. They asked for the past five years of employment but I didn't work in 2009 (that have me nervous) what you guys think? I'm extremely worried that I will get sent home

I am not familiar with Prime.. but a speeding ticket as lo g as it was not 10mph or more over shojld be no concern..

As for the not working in 2009 you may need some further documentation... but also, fine..

But, again.. I am not familiar with Prime... never worked for them.. but, see them on the road so they got loads..

I know we only need three years of work history to drive...that's what the recruiter told me

A lot of people do not understand the the work history requirement for a trucking positon.

While a 10 year employment history is required by federal regulation, the prospective employer is only required to verify the previous 3 years.

Some companies will verify more than 3 years, but the regulations only require the past 3 to be verified.

If they gave you a ticket to the terminal, you are probably sweating for nothing. They usually get most of the important stuff ironed out before you board the dog. When you are in orientation, be where you are supposed to be, dress appropriately, be polite, and don't try to get a date with anyone.

The app at orientation is the one that counts. They won't get you on a "filing a false app" for not putting it on the first one. The arrest record may delay your getting into a truck while they investigate them.

I recall the work history of being ten years if you've been driving a CDL job, three years otherwise. You should be safe on that front.
