I am not sure if I will get my 5k or not...speaking with their insurance company now.
If I don't this will be the first time in 10 years I have gotten screwed.
Regardless of whether they pay or their bond pays....I would say this is the exact type of behavior (horrible communications, no response to email, phone system drops your calls) that would make me drive to TN and meet some people face to face.

Wow this a tricky messy one.
As Network trans they show as insured by ACE in Philladelphia.
But ACE seems to know nothing of them.
So I found out they are a subsidiary of SOAR transportation....which shows completely different insurance coverage.
No matter what happens this is some very shady poop IMO.
Wow what good is a bond if the bond company will not answer their phones or respond to emails?
This entire situation is shady and I don't trust anyone involved as of now.
The CEO called me and said he is on it but even after that I am still very skeptical.
He assured me his on it and that the merger between Network Trans and SOAR has messed up everything.
Even if all of that is true and everything works out....my biggest new concern in the entire industry, from my point of view, is what good is a surety bond if you can't file on it!?
These people right here suck as bad as the person responsible for my late payment!

Wow so many layers on this dump!
Kelle's DBA SOAR Transportation group who merged or acquired Network Trans.
No matter how long I do this my list of questions for new to me brokers apparently will never ever be enough to cover ALL of my bases!
A half a day of research to find this out.
SOAR is the primary owner and also the name of the asset division which is all reefers that run out of Utah. Network Transport is the broker division. They maintain separate insurance because the reefer asset insurance is so much more specialized than the broker insurance needs to be and therefore insanely more expensive.
Now because of all the heat (24 hours of calling different insurance companies as well as DAT) I have placed on them in the last 24 hours , I have attracted the attention of the one that got me paid (in the mail today allegedly).Last edited: Jan 11, 2022
Wow man I have been at this since 1997 and have never seen as many layers on a company as Kelle's/SOAR/Network Trans.
It is very odd IMO. It genuinely feels as if they are trying to hide from carriers which they owe money to until they get called out on it and the carrier (me!) spends 6 hours trying to figure out how to get paid or file on their surety bond!
I ran this load for Network Trans and had I not done extensive research I would have never even know that SOAR is the bond holder.
It seems criminal and I am going to spend some more time looking into this for sure.
Here it is 1PM and I just now got a return call from the Old Republic Surety company Wisconsin office (listed as bond holder).
The only thing she could say was sorry we don't have enough people.
That is not good for someone that needs to file on a bond which may become depleted due to other carriers filing on it.Last edited: Jan 12, 2022
The other shady red flag is that before I did anything I simply just tried calling them.
I tried every number listed (scroll to bottom) and hit every button only to be disconnected after listening to hold music for 1 hour.
Home - Network Transport
I just spoke with a very knowledgeable and nice girl at the FMCSA.
What we discovered is that Network Trans has no brokerage authority....only carrier.
So they are running under SOAR credentials or Network Transportation LLC and actively trying to hide from people that would need to file on their bond. Because they broker loads under Network Trans though it makes it a dead end when seeking information on them. Then all the dead phones make it impossible to get a hold of someone and no response to email leaves you dead in the water. It all looks very intentional.
I am reporting them trying to report them to NCCDB right now but of course that site is broken and won't let me.
We are all on our own out here.Last edited: Jan 12, 2022
After bringing the heat I got another phone call with their explanation of what happened. I am not buying it.
They claim their new carrier setup system did not recognize my home address and therefor would not and did not process my payment.
So after all the heat a girl called me to get my address and I said what are you showing and she recited my address back to me perfectly. LOL.
I then confirmed it and hung up on them in disgust.Last edited: Jan 12, 2022
