I have been arrested before... I have NEVER been convicted... is this a something I should be worried about?

did you disclose that on your application? If not I would call and talk to someone before you have to pay your own way home
-
-
I would call them and ask just so there are no surprises, but it's your call.. They are going to see it either way if they do a good background check, so I would suggest letting them know so it doesn't look like you are hiding it

that's just my opinion, but I have my degree in criminal justice and I know when you interview with any type of agency in the system, if you hide one thing, they are suspicious of what else you may be hiding. It may not be like that with trucking, but if it were me and I was doing a background check on someone and found that, I would wonder why they didn't tell me. I can't see it impacting your job since you weren't convicted, but if it does, at least you'll know ahead of time and won't have to dish out the money for your trip home and waste time. Good luck!

just answer the questions they ask you. don't answer questions they don't ask.

The question is, were you found to be innocent.
If you have a hold on it or anything they need to know.
If charges were dropped. They do not need to know.
If the case is pending, they really need to know.
LOL
Too many variables. I would ask. -
what were you arrested for? and did you go to court to get it dropped or were you never charged? If it was dropped, was it dropped with or without prejudice? If you were just arrested and never charged.. I wouldn't bother mentioning it
