New 2 the forum

I'm The4C'sofFueling from Terre Haute, IN, new to the forum. You came highly recommended. My interests include teaching and coaching, the mission field (I realize that field starts right outside the front door, but I love going to Haiti to do mission work), and trying to make an impact in people's lives. I must admit, the grind of this job totally gets in the way of my ministry, but even the Apostle Paul was a tent maker. And ultimately, this job gives my Ex's a reason to constantly have an excuse to drive something new....LOL!
I had a friend tell me that this site was loaded w/ trucking industry experts that might be able give me their insight, in what appears (and seems to be reappearing in this area) to be a phenomenon in the fueling world of the trucking community....commercial fueling.
Fleet managers and owners are beginning to scrutinize their company's means to become more efficient. Nowadays, the cheapest fuel and the most convenient truck stop don't always make that driver more efficient, many are quickly learning. The truck stops make a wholehearted attempt to "lure" drivers inside, to buy amenities that only add to the bottom line. I want to know what y'all think of this concept that has been around for years, but has gone, for the most part, by the wayside, until recently. These independent fueling locations are strategically located all throughout the U.S. and I would like to know how well you think it would benefit the trucking industry.
