I'd chose the Detroit
-
Can I ask why DD I have driven them
What are the advantages vs cat -
I don't think you can go wrong which ever one you pick. Detroit may give you little better mileage vs little more power on N14. Also parts for Detroit 60 are little cheaper.
-
How much would a decent engine cost to put
In a glider CAT or DD -
CAT. Less mileage, More Power
DD. Less power, Way better Mileage. -
n14 was always the bullet proof engine but from what ive been hearing pre-emissions Detroit far better fuel mpg.
-
There is a lot of things a person can do to make more power
Blueprint n balance all the motor port n polish the heads
Get a real harmonic dampner an a real flywheel
Buy better injectors install a top notch exhaust system -
baha Thanks this.

I thought the whole point of a glider was to throw a CAT on steroids in it.
