There is information about Alliance Leasing with Stevens Transport on threads here in the Stevens section of company DAC reports. You may want to take a look at TLeaHeart post on Stevens Transport A Year In Review. Actually TLeaHeart seems to have a good grasp on reality at Stevens as well as their leasing program. TLeaHeart has posts on numerous Stevens threads. Lots of good investigating in the threads.
By the way, thanks for your service to our country!:biggrin_25514:

Ive checked out a couple of them and I was looking for the price of the lease and some of the fees that come with leasing. And i was looking for a good average of insurance. Im tring to decide if i want to go with a lease or try to do a company driver.

I have no experience other than getting my cdl. I am waiting to go to orientation. But I have been reading since September of 09.
The main jest I get from what people have said from many companies, is to get a good year with that company as a company driver to see how they operate and run the business before you decide to go into a lease.

Alot of people have not done well with leases....while others have.
I think the difference is understanding the business and knowing how to run it.

Good luck in whatever you do!

    God Bless!

    And thanks for your service!

Good morning Spoon_ and welcome to the forum. As you've discovered there's a ton of information here about Stevens and many of the other carriers out there. If you have time to do the research....take the time! What I'm learning as a wannabe is that the options are numerous but some are dangerous for those of us just getting our feet wet. Anyway, best of luck to you!

A quick answer is the first 1800 miles for the week go to pay the lease, taxes, insurance. Fuel varies depending on how you run. $800 to $900 per week costs, not including fuel.

    spoon_ and KCJ Thank this.
