It is an interesting statement isn't it? Honestly I've never thought about it until I read a post on here and I think it was @TripleSix that alluded to the idea.
Honestly, I think it has to do with one's attitude whether or not they are a trucker or a truck driver. Those that seem to think everyday is a vacation and are more concerned with making their social media videos, those that worry endlessly about their DAC report and PSP scores and what their mean dispatcher might do, they're a trucker.
But those that take the job somewhat seriously, the quiet professional that just goes and does his or her job, they're more of the 'truck driver' type. You won't see them on social media and they probably could care less about some third party report on their driving abilities that someone they've never met wrote about them.

The difference between a trucker and a driver is the difference between someone who throws hands vs a fighter.

In this video, at the very beginning of the sparring, the old guy is following the younger guy around the ring. Suddenly, he learns the young guy’s rhythm, gets on the same rhythm and starts to step with him (that’s why they call it dancing) and cuts off the ring. THEN he starts timing his punches and landing at will.
The reason for the video is to show how quickly the old guy made the mental adjustment. A trucker is the organic part of the machine. ANY machine. Any time. Any road. Any company. Instantly makes the mental adjustment and off he goes.Gearjammin' Penguin, homeskillet, Another Canadian driver and 4 others Thank this. -
Easy to figure out what your hourly wage is as a CPM driver. [Gross pay] / ( 40 + [Hours worked over 40] *1.5 ) If you happen to actually work, meaning off duty but performing duties pursuant to the job then make sure that's in there to know what you get paid hourly. As an example, say you get $1700 for 60 hours of work. That would be 1700 / ( 40 + 20 * 1.5 ) = $24.28 / hour.

It’s only a proposed bill, and if it ever makes it to the floor for a vote, it will never pass. The big money lobbyists that work for the ATA will never let that bill see the light of day. Unfortunately big money rules the laws that pass in our nation’s capital.
