Hey drivers Swift is looking for dedicated drivers to haul DriveCam units to each terminal. Great miles and you'll be one of the first to get a new camera in truck and new cardboard ad cutout made of you driving to be placed at each drivers lounge. Oh yea we can now use video capture for our own promotional and safety lessons. Who is up for it?
*Jokingpumpkinhead Thanks this. -
OceanDan Thanks this.

Since my first email to the "Ask Richard' address was answered with more corporate doublespeak, I crafted a second. Posting the copy here, I included my name and driver code in the one I sent, removed it here.
Please provide the specific answers to these submitted questions. The information being published via videos from corporate is either blatant lies, or evidence of corporate ignorance of technology.
1.) What is the onboard or internal memory of the cameras?
2.) Can the camera now or in the future access external memory such as SD cards or similar?
3.) Is there any limit to what can be defined as an "event"?
4.) You've repeatedly used the term "exonerate". From whom will I need to be exonerated?
5.) If safe drivers truly have nothing to worry about, as you have stated repeatedly, why are you making this capital investment in ALL company trucks? This quote is taken from a recent Land Line online article in which both you and Jerry were quoted.
Sure, costs need to get passed on to shippers, but its not totally been their fault. A good number of these motor carriers could find a way to raise driver pay. For example, they could rein in their budget on more Big Brother technology and put their money where the steering wheel is. Truckers make less now than they did 10 years ago. You want a professional; you pay drivers like professionals and ante up.

6.) Can the camera transmit video without driver input? In other words can you view video the driver was not in control of sending?
7.) What level of encryption will be used with these cameras?
8.) Who is the cyber security expert for Drive Cam? Who will be the cyber security expert for Swift and what are their qualifications?
9.) In your first email to me you gave the example of someone hitting my truck while I was stopped and engine was off. Would this event trigger the driver facing camera? If yes, what if the driver, male or female, due to being off duty, is partially indecent, will this video be transmitted?
Thank you for your prompt reply,
